Euan's Guide

Often referred to as "Tripadvisor for Disabled People", Euan's Guide is designed to help disabled people and their families find venues worldwide that are truely accessible. The site and its sister site for Disabled Access Day have won multiple awards, including the BT People's Award.

We have worked with Intelligent Mobile since we started Euan’s Guide. We’re delighted to endorse Intelligent Mobile, they are innovative, responsive, care deeply about our goals and help us to achieve these. In 2019 they worked with us to deliver an advanced, radically improved and streamlined review process that is fast, secure and simple for our users - many of whom use assistive technology. Cutting the review process from a four-step process to a one-step process has already resulted in a significant uplift in mobile conversions and we have received exceptional feedback across social media and from users. Without exception the team at Intelligent Mobile continue to deliver above and beyond. They provide us with a great service and we highly recommend them!”

business challenges

We are privileged to have been involved with Euan's Guide from its start. Since 2013 we have worked closely with the founders and trustees to deliver solutions that promote the charity's guiding principle - to put disabled users first.

From initial concept conversations, advice on strategy and brand, through to the selection and development of genuinely accessible technology solutions, we are proud to have played a part in the success that the charity is today.

creating the experience

The first part of the project was to conceive and develop a website that appealed to Euan’s diverse audience. The resulting website is fully responsive, integrated with social media and have become preferred platforms for community driven content.

Euan’s Guide champions accessibility so over the years we have added functionality to enhance this such as screen reading compatibility, contrasted colour palettes for people with visual impairment and magnified map navigation. More recently gamification and new search features have been added to increase engagement.
